Platform Engineer

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with designing & implementing solutions using cloud native services (preferably Azure or other cloud provider AWS or GCP)
• Hands-on experience as Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or similar roles coming from Software development or system administration background
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep or similar tools
• Experience with Container and/or Serverless services in cloud environments
• Some experience with designing and implementing solutions using cloud native API Gateway and API management services (preferably in Azure or other cloud provider).
• Experience with writing automation scripts/tools using Bash, Python, JavaScript, Typescript or Go
• Understanding of Hub & Spoke architecture
• Understanding of networking architecture such as DNS, routing, subnet, NAT, CDN, loadbalncers etc.
• Understanding of Azure AD, access mangement concepts such AD groups, IAM etc

• Responsible for managing, operating the CDX platform on Azure along with OnCall support
• Offload product teams with CDX core components in Azure
• CDX Firewall - Managing communication and rules between cloud environments
• CDX Frontdoor - Exposing applications publicly
• Application Gateways - Exposing application privately and routing traffic to applications
• Guardrails using policies - Apply best practices from Well Architected Framework
• Baseline cloud environments to the product teams
• Personal Sandbox - Explore cloud services as individual
• Team Sandbox - Explore cloud services as team
• Test & Prod environments - Deploy & run application
• Onboarding product teams to CDX platform
• DNS management
• Networking with Hub & Spoke architecture
• Defender for cloud - Security recommendation
