Description:

Our cross-functional Engineering teams develop scalable and secure microservices and APIs for the different domains of our product. As Platform Engineer you are not only an individual contributor but support your team with a strong customer-centric mindset and a drive to take on ownership over product capabilities or technical components. Two-week sprints based on Scrum help our teams to self-organize their tasks and continuously improve the way they work to deliver value through our products for our customers. The Platform teams have a few different topics we are working on, you can take a look at the Platform Engineer - Site Reliability role for more information on the scope of everything we do.

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?

As part of one Platform Team, you will play a vital role in embracing a product-centric mindset while focusing on automation, orchestration, and robust systems:

  • ‘Shift left’ approach will be your mantra — moving tasks closer to the most suited team, and extending the agile philosophy across the organization.
  • Implement, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, aiding in the swift and efficient delivery of software products.
  • Use Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized applications, virtual machines (VMs), and serverless architectures, crafting a platform that simplifies engineering workloads.
  • Implement microservice onboarding pathways, delivering frictionless integration experiences for other engineering teams.
  • Centralize your efforts around enhancing our network infrastructure, managing Service Mesh, DNS, and employing cutting-edge network security practices.

Passionate colleagues who are looking forward to share knowledge (see our blog!) and learn from you.
You will be part of our larger development organization and contribute to cross-team knowledge building & sharing - with explicit options to share your knowledge across our entire company and beyond, e.g. on conferences
