Looking to join an incredibly interesting Federal Government department?
We are working with a premier government agency that is looking to add a Platform Engineer to their team. This contract has very long term potential due, in part, to an extensive program of work.
In this role you will be working on all aspects of platform engineering with a focus on design, deployment, management and support of their Infrastructure as Code platform.

Your day to day activities will include:

• Deployment of new applications
• Monitoring and patching
• Kubernetes deployment and management
• CI/CD delivery and support
• Overall support and management of platforms

Please note, ideally you will have a baseline or NV1 clearance if not you must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to get this clearance.

Other than the clearance we are keen to speak with candidates that have:

• Kubernetes platform deployment
• Ansible expertise
• Linux background (Ubuntu ideally)
• Git source control
• Kubespray and Kustomize would be beneficial
• Apache and ForgeRock also nice to have

On offer to the successful candidate will be a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months with daily rates based on your skills and experience. There are extensions expected as well!
