Responsibilities:
As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our platforms. You will collaborate with various teams to define system requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet user needs and business objectives. Your role will also involve implementing platform enhancements that improve performance and user experience, troubleshooting platform issues, ensuring platform security, and staying abreast of emerging technologies.
- Provide operational support for large k8 Open-Source Deployment
- Identify gaps that engineering squads may have maintaining workloads on the platform
- Excellent understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to provide root cause analysis
- Ensuring platform security by implementing best practices in data protection
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and applying this knowledge to platform development
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Platform Engineer role brings proven experience in platform engineering or a similar role.
- Expeirence managing highly available platforms
- Monitoring toolsets: Dynatrace, prometheus, Alert Manager, Grafana, PagerDuty
- IaaC: HashiCorp Terraform, Cloud formations
- CI/CD tools: Jenkids, Cloudbees, Artifactory, Bitbuket, ArgoCD
- Virtulisation: VMware
