KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of QA experience, preferably on consumer hardware/software products
• Enthusiasm for user-focused design and high-quality user experiences
• Technically agile and able to debug issues across all levels of the software stack; Familiarity with Apple frameworks a plus
• Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
• At ease and adaptable in a dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to facilitate close interaction with peers, management, development teams, and other organizations within Apple

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate test engineer with a background in working in a deeply technical but user-focused team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver exceptional visionOS keynote recordings and demo experiences to both internal and external audiences. You’ll work as part of a talented team to identify critical issues affecting the software quality of each demo and recording, escalate those issues to engineering teams and senior leadership, and work cross-functionally with engineering teams to ensure issues are resolved quickly. Additionally, you’ll help drive end-to-end software quality by simulating real-world use and quantifying results through persona user testing and other end-to-end testing.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent QA experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of Unix and Unix shell scripting
• Knowledge in one or more scripting or programming languages, including Swift, Objective-C, Javascript, and PythonAbility to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends
