PLATFORM EXPERT (HÍBRIDO LISBOA)

What we are looking for / tasks associated with the position:

• Support the compliance, implementation and dissemination of IT policies and procedures, as well as supporting the team in articulating and achieving results through the creation of value for stakeholders;
• Ensure coherence in software development on a technology/platform, making the most of the technology/platform, always safeguarding interests and requirements.
• Analyze and understand the business needs and technical specifications of internal customers;
• Design and develop cloud-based software solutions using various programming languages, cloud platforms and frameworks;
• Test and validate the functionality, quality and security of the software using various tools and methods;
• Serve as a key link between the cloud competency center team and the product team.
• Guide and advise on aligning cloud software solutions with product objectives, emphasizing the use of best practices and adherence to established guidelines;

• Provide strategic information and actively participate in product planning discussions;

• Ensure that all cloud solution projects comply with Financial Operations (FinOps) principles; - Optimization of cloud costs, ensuring efficient use of resources;

• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure software meets expectations and standards;

For the following position, we are looking for support to the current developing team, being directly involved with the project, alongside the more senior elements of the team

• Must have:
• Proficient in using various programming languages such as Javascript, Java, Python, C#, PHP, etc.;
• Proficient in using various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud;
• Proficient in using various cloud frameworks and tools such as Git, Docker, Serverless, etc.;
• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, DevOps, etc.;
• Knowledge of software security principles and practices, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, etc.;
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Strong teamwork, collaboration and learning skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Passion for cloud software development and innovation.
• English and Portuguese are mandatory
• Nice to have: - Spanish is preferable
