We are now looking for
Platform Owner, Mobile Device Management
to work as part of the Digital Workplace Platforms team in KONE IT.
In this role you will be responsible for KONEs Mobile Device Management platforms that help secure and support the mobile devices and mobile applications used by KONE employees both in the office and frontlines.
Over 40 000 KONE employees in the frontlines rely on a mobile device as their primary digital device, making it a critical part of the digital employee experience. Your responsibilities are focused on governance, stakeholder communication and leading the development of our Mobile Device Management platforms. KONE has globally standardized on Microsoft Intune, but there are other MDM platforms like SOTI and AirWatch in use in parts of the organization.
The position is based in Espoo, Finland.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE`RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in working with Mobile Device Management, or other related IT infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience in mobile device management architectures and solutions in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of one or more Mobile Device Management platforms, mainly Microsoft Intune
  • Proven experience as product owner, platform owner, or similar role
  • Highly motivated team player with a service-oriented mindset, enjoying consulting and co-creating solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in applying design thinking techniques combined with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and DevOps ways of working.
  • Proven experience working in an international environment with the ability to excel in virtual organizations. Ability to both work independently as well as contribute effectively to virtual teams in a multicultural setting.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English, including effectively communicating complex topics at a comprehensible level.
  • Open-minded with a sense of humor, contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Realize maximum value from platform investments through the life cycle by defining the roadmap, prioritizing the backlog, and planning their execution.
  • Clarify the needs of stakeholders and target users and translate them into product backlogs in form and shape of epics, features & stories.
  • Facilitate agile ways of working and overall planning, bring clarity, and manage the backlog efficiently & transparently.
  • Be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the platform lifecycle taking the total cost of ownership across the lifecycle into account including development costs, license costs, run costs.
  • Promote continuous improvement to the platform and ways of working within the agile team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and competitive advantage in the customer channels.
