MuleSoft is looking for a motivated Platform Solution Engineer to join our extremely talented Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, who are instrumental to MuleSoft’s growth.
As a Platform Solution Engineer, you will be the trusted technical expert in showing and proving how the Anypoint Platform can meet the customers technical requirements. You will partner closely with Account Solution Engineers and Account Executives to qualify sales opportunities using your technical and product expertise throughout the end-to-end sales cycle. You will be an integral part of the success for our customers by performing technical discovery qualification, making architectural recommendations for the solution, building complex product demonstrations and POCs.
As a passionate technologist and customer advocate, you will connect the dots between the technical solution to business value for the customer.
THESE ARE THE CORE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Hands-on application development experience in Java, scripting or REST development either in an enterprise or academic environment
- Excellent presentation abilities and composure in front of all levels of technical audiences
- Current hands on experience with some or all of the following: middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, BPM, RPA.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, etc. is preferred
- Experience of scoping, managing and building complex Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and effectively
- Result driven, self motivated person interested in being a part of a fast-paced tech environment
- A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers
- Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills in front of all audiences.
