PROJECT DESCRIPTION
About the Project - Building metrology equipment for precision measurements for optical systems. The project scope is commissioning the PLC automation software that will control the mechatronics of the metrology equipment. Our team - The team will be part of a larger team that is working for our client that is a leader in the Integrated Circuits Lithography domain Technologies used: PLC Siemens S7 1500, Simatic
SKILLS
Must have
Completed bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, desirably with a master’s degree.
Familiarity with safety standards in machine operation and control such as EN12100 and IEC 13849.
Experience in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Knowledge and Good experience with industrial automation software, especially Siemens Automation (TIA Portal). Good knowledge of programming languages like Ladder Logic, FBD and SCL.
Possess a “System Engineering Mindset” with the ability to view and understand the overall system architecture. The candidate should be proactive in identifying potential issues, taking ownership, and working collaboratively to achieve project goals and improve system performance.
Initiative, Flexible, willingness to work and sense of responsibility in daily activities.
Ability to work in a team and lead other team members and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:
Create and contribute to system architecture: o Risk analysis and corresponding measurement definition to minimize the risks in the complete process chain. o Assisting in MMDC (Machine and Material Damage Control) architecture, involving the design of engineering solutions to prevent collisions and potential equipment damage. o Participating in the architecture development for both new and existing machines. o Collaborating with the senior MMDC Control System Architects in the overall process design. o Technical documentation for the designed engineering solutions.
Adhering to safety standards like EN 12100 and IEC 13849 when developing and implementing system architectures.
Carrying out commissioning activities at the machine and preparing test reports.
Development and programming of control software for machines and plants in TIA Portal.
Carrying out virtual software testing in a simulated test environment.
Troubleshooting the faults in the machine and providing solutions to fix the problems.
