PLC/HMI Automation System Design Engineer

Review product design developed by Schneider Electric partner from electronics perspective in order to fulfil Schneider Electric requirement
Develop product technical specification aligned to marketing & regulatory requirement
Collaborate with validation team to develop product industrial automation testing platform consist of Schneider Electric PLC, HMI, IOlink Master to validate newly developed industrial tower light’s interoperability in automation system platform
Conduct product verification to ensure product design solutions meet product specifications and functional requirements (performance, quality and compliance with international regulatory standards e.g. IEC, UL and EMC)
Participate and execute the action plans defined in project meeting
Provide routine update to project design leader and functional manager
Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or its equivalent
Highly competent in setting up industrial automation device like PLC, HMI, IOLink device, Modbus device to operate in complete system level
Able to setting up industrial tower light embedded with Modbus, IOlink and/or hardwired IO to operate with PLC and HMI
Able to alter PLC program, HMI program to meet different application testing needs to check the interoperability of industrial tower light
Master the knowledge in reading & interpreting electronics schematic comprises of mixed signal embedded circuit design comprises of power electronics: SMPS circuit, protection components, MCU-based circuit (ADC, Timer, PWM, I2C etc…), LED illumination technology, Buzzer and speaker design
Experience in electronics development through multiple product development cycles with good understanding in component technology selection, electronics board spacing design rules, design FMEA, PCB review, EMC phenomena and countermeasure, electronics boards manufacturing process
