We are looking for ambitious, motivated individuals to join our PLM team to support our continued growth. The candidates must be autonomous, eager to apply their engineering skills and able to learn quickly on the job. As a Technical Pre-Sales Specialist, you will work closely with the sales and services teams to promote the growth of our PLM software and services business. You must ensure the proposed solutions are technically sound and address customer needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, software or electrical engineering
  • The position requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, communication skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • English & French proficiency (The position requires regular interaction with colleagues, suppliers and customers based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally).
  • Occasional travel only

GREAT EXPERIENCE TO HAVE:

  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management concepts
  • Previous experience or exposure to Siemens Teamcenter
  • Knowledge of CAD platforms such as NX, Catia or SolidWorks
  • Experience in developing customer requirements, deploying complex integrated digital solutions and operational value realization.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively support PLM sales opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Develop proof of concepts and demonstrate how the proposed solution will meet customer needs and add value.
  • Collaborate with sales, customers and consultants throughout engagement and act as the technical leader within customer engagements.
  • Create and deliver demonstrations in support of the sales process.
  • Gather customer technical requirements, help build project proposals, support customer evaluation benchmarks and training.
  • Maintain broad and up-to-date knowledge of Teamcenter PLM solutions offered.
  • Meet pre-sales targets and provide necessary reporting to track progress.
