Our client is a business owned and operated in Australia, with its main office located in Melbourne. Renowned as the foremost provider of logistics solutions for Fixtures, Fittings, and Equipment (FF&E), they excel in 3PL and transport services for store development, offering specialised project logistics solutions for both retail and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Based in Kilsyth the PM Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of loading and unloading of customers stock during the PM shift. In this role, you will coordinate the preparation of freight in a ready condition for transit. You will also be responsible for the supervision of various depot tasks and ensuring customer requirements are met. The primary focus of your role is to coordinate the safe delivery of scheduled customer goods and ensuring the customers delivery timelines are met.
The hours for this position are 12pm- 8pm.

DUTIES

  • Assist in providing a safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety procedures, ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
  • Ensure freight is packed, padded and loaded safely to minimise damages and movement when in transit
  • Ensure all consignment notes allocated for delivery and pick up are manifested to the correct driver
  • Measure all consignments to ensure accuracy in the cubic metres, weights of the product

• Perform daily depot checks at the start and finish of the shift to ensure all freight is delivered, line hauled or forwarded, on time • To ensure freight is loaded in accordance with current Restraint and Transport legislation

  • Assist in the supervision of all warehouse and loading duties to maximise the efficiency of operations in the warehouse
  • Assist the Fleet Allocator with the daily planning of handling staff and resources
  • Ensure all staff have the required equipment to safely complete their daily tasks, as required
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and organise general maintenance as needed
  • Plan daily linehaul requirements using jobs per state in conduction with NSW Operations Supervisor.
