We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • University degree or higher – demonstrating analytical background
  • Fluency in English is a must (at least C1 level)
  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Previous experience working in a PMO or Project Management environment desirable
  • Previous experience with project/portfolio management tools desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, people skills with an ability to collaborate and work independently at home, in the local office or another AXA XL office
  • Proven detailed orientation, coordination, organization and facilitation skills, with a proclivity toward consistency and simplicity
  • Inquisitive mind and courage to challenge the status quo
  • Experienced at documenting procedures to colleagues/internal customers
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Package, including advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, VBA of advantage

The person we are looking for may also have these abilities and skills:

Responsibilities:

  • Produces all centralized PMO reporting and data analysis to feed into reporting such as:
  • Projects SteerCo
  • Projects Board
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics
  • Produce operational Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s) reporting for reporting to Operations and Technology leadership
  • Production of the Project management Heatmap report to drive data quality and controls
  • Production of the Service Company report for the UK/Lloyd’s and APAC & Europe business units
  • Run the financial billing tool report to give project managers a view of what costs have been raised and paid against their project
  • Build up knowledge of the Projects Portfolio at a high level and use data to help senior managers easily understand the status of the portfolio
  • Work closely with our wider Portfolio Management teams and Finance counterparts to facilitate timely and aligned project portfolio reporting
  • Collaborate with other functions, including Technology, Data and Finance to make sure that reporting is suitable for target audience and ensure key messages are identified and effectively communicated
  • Use your analytical skills to engage with your customers and solve problems
  • Identify and implement improvements to our current reporting
  • Proactively identify issues, monitor trends, and make recommendations by leveraging data, project documents and collaborative relationships to ensure the portfolio is following governance and reporting standards
  • Using reporting and analysis, work closely with the wider Portfolio Management teams to identify data quality/project delivery issues, risks and dependencies
  • Manage the relationship with the Financial Planning and Analysis team on the creation of new project codes
  • Maintain and upkeep the central reporting calendar
