Position Description

CGI Federal is hiring a PMO Analyst to work with a skilled and motivated team of professionals on a high-visibility Department of Homeland Security (DHS) COTS ERP implementation. The successful candidate for this position is a motivated individual, a self-starter who works effectively in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with PMO management supporting their resourcing needs, priorities, and unique staffing challenges. This is a great opportunity with room to grow both on the program and within CGI Federal.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • As a PMO Resource Management Analyst, you will join our busy PMO supporting program leadership in the daily administration of the program.
  • Support end to end staffing efforts for the program; track open requirements, provide recruiting coordination, support onboarding, and off boarding activities.
  • Support project leads with their resource needs; capture resource requirements, update staffing databases; support job requisition development, and track through requirement fulfillment.
  • Maintain resource databases, libraries, documentation, and organization charts.
  • Compile and analyze staffing data for inclusion in status reports on behalf of the program office, to be delivered to the client.
  • Prepare, encrypt, and deliver sensitive staffing documentation to the client.
  • Analyze staffing data and processes and identify process improvements and create efficiencies.
  • Upload and maintain documentation in SharePoint and JIRA.
  • Manage and maintain the projects Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) process and documentation.
  • Produce and maintain internal program Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Track actions from meetings, coordinate progress, and report back to management.
  • Build effective relationships between the PMO and the program’s Service Delivery teams; coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in analyzing project data to identify trends, issues, and risks, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Support project audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to project team members on project management processes and tools.
  • Support preparation of project presentations, reports, and other deliverables for senior management.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Due to the nature of the contract requirements, US citizenship and successful passing of CGI background check is required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience. (4+ years’ experience in lieu of formal degree).
  • Great attention to detail and commitment to high quality is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with senior management and government client POCs.
  • Experience with program coordination and administration.
  • Intermediate to advanced ability with Microsoft suite of products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to exhibit flexibility with tasking and duties assigned, and to take on additional temporary or permanent responsibilities in the PMO as needed.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality of sensitive PII and security information.
  • Experience in JIRA including creating and managing projects, issues, workflows, dashboards, permissions, and setup of Agile boards.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

  • Prior experience in resource management, staffing, capacity management, or related fields.
  • Experience in supporting project management roles and project management methodology.
  • Experience in complex work assignments in matrixed organizations.
  • Exposure to or general knowledge of the DHS Joint Program Management Office (JPMO)
  • Exposure to or general knowledge of Federal Financial Management Systems

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800.00 - $165,200.00.
