PMO Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is one of the biggest IT providers, that specialized in providing innovative solutions and infrastructure to their customers. The role of the PMO Manager is to manage the day-to-day activities in the Project Management Office, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, and overseeing project management activities to ensure compliance with the company’s standards and ensure smooth delivery of the projects.

【What will you be working on】

• Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company or Business Unit standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
• Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are performing their tasks efficiently while upholding the company’s or Business Unit’s standards.
• Collaborating with Business Unit leaders to define, prioritize and develop projects and programs.
• Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
• Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
• Accurately documenting the project’s creation, development, execution and documenting the project’s scope, budget, and justification.
• Any other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENT

【What they’re looking for】

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of PMO experience in the IT industry, or with over 5 years of experience in System Integrator roles
• 5 years of experience in a supervisory position such as a PM or PMO.
• Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Strong leadership skills to inspire and lead the delivery team
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Business beginners are also considerable, as internal tasks are the main job responsibility)
• Strong attention to detail and technicalities.
• Excellent organizational and technical skills.
• Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to work under pressure.

• Possess working experience in large-scale system projects, especially banking-related
• Possess a business-level proficiency in English

• Possess knowledge in middleware (such as Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic Server, JP1, HULFT, etc.)
