REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education – PhD/ master’s in electrical engineering or physics
- Experience - At least 10 years of industry experience and expertise in CMOS device modeling.
- Must have in-depth Semiconductor device physics knowledge.
- Expertise with device and circuit level simulators such as HSPICE, SPECTRE
- Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.
- Excellent ability to meet tight deadlines, commitments and deliver customer requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a foundry environment supporting Device compact modeling across multiple technology nodes and products.
- Experience in high voltage BCD modeling development.
- Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Python programming and machine learning algorithms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning & organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
This position is for a Device compact modeling expert who will lead cross functional team and drive compact device model development for High Voltage BCD technologies.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead model development project covering base band, high voltage BCD for GF technologies to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standard, and with emphasis on innovative methodology enhancement and lesson learned.
- Collaborate with Fab, device and design teams to understand device specifications and performance requirements of the BCD models.
- Drive best practices and standardization in data selection, model extraction, QA/ validation & circuit benchmarking across model organization.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Device Model Characterization Lab/ PDK/ Device/ Process Integration/ Device Development/ Design Manual/ Test chip Design Layout) to executive PDK/model related projects & resolve PDK/model related issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in device compact modeling techniques and incorporate them into the development process.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Actively participate in customer engagement and provide technical support on customers’ queries on device compact models & help to resolve model related issues in a timely manner.

- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
