Description:
Role Title: HEI Policy and Alliances Manager (m/f/d) - Remote
Location: 100% Remote work available across Europe
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in managing complex higher education programs within a European context, preferably involving Horizon Europe or Erasmus+.
- Deep understanding of the European higher education landscape, including its governance, challenges, and trends.
- Familiarity with European policy priorities such as the European Green Deal, Digital Education Action Plan, etc.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate a shared vision and motivate a diverse stakeholder group.Fluent in English (C2 level); additional European languages are a plus.

ROLE INSIGHTS
We are seeking a proactive HEI Policy and Alliances Manager (m/f/d) to join our team. This role is crucial for enhancing the innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities within higher education across Europe. By integrating the EIT’s Knowledge Triangle Model and leveraging Smart Specialisation Strategies, you will drive systemic changes and build strong partnerships that propel our goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Policy Leadership: Steer internal policy discussions, prepare influential position papers, and coordinate the HEI Initiative’s policy-related outputs to strengthen our stance as a thought leader in innovation within higher education.
- Strategic Dissemination and Alliances: Enhance the visibility and impact of the HEI Initiative by forging alliances and engaging with key stakeholders across Europe. You will represent the initiative at high-profile events and facilitate major collaborations that align with our strategic goals.
- Program Coordination: Oversee the eligibility, evaluation, and selection processes for Calls for Proposals, ensuring the recruitment and coordination of top-tier evaluators and the effective management of these processes.Communications and Outreach: Lead the communications strategy and its implementation, driving the dissemination and promotion of the initiative to maximize reach and impact.
