We are looking for a Policy Delivery Lead to add meaningful value to a once in a generation opportunity.
Wellington Water is currently working with the Wellington Metropolitan councils on a significant programme of work that will lead to impactful improvements and conservation of water for our community through water metering.

Wellington Water is the professional water services provider across Greater Wellington and South Wairarapa. Our job is to provide safe and healthy drinking water, collect and treat wastewater, and ensure the stormwater network is well managed. Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience leading policy change and improvement, both operationally and within a public or local council setting.
- Experience navigating social impact and perception, with proven ability to influence through thorough research and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience applying economic principles in a local government environment.
- Ability to navigate programme governance, and facilitate needs of governing bodies, councils, or boards.
- Ability to work independently and identify strategic risk.
- Experience working with a range of differing stakeholders and catering to political, community and iwi interest.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- A relevant tertiary qualification such as social or political science, public policy or economic
