Description:
- Pay rate: $65/hr + super
- Location: Elizabeth St (Syd CBD) 2 days a week in the office

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the effective operation by ensuring advice for approval is clear
and succinct to support decision making by DPE senior executives and
Ministers.
- Liaise with staff to support co-ordination processes including for
Ministerial meetings, cabinet submissions, budget estimates processes and parliamentary notes.
- Ensure advice provided is based on appropriate factual evidence and research, and a comprehensive understanding of the legislative and strategic policy framework.
- Assist in managing requests for information including from senior executives, Ministers’ Offices, other parts of the agency, other government agencies and the public, and coordinate timely, informed and well-constructed responses.
- Review advice including briefing notes, submissions, reports, meeting papers and Ministerial, Cabinet and Parliamentary correspondence to meet required quality and accuracy standards and tight timeframes.
- Assist in identifying emerging issues, taking into account opportunities and risks, and help identify solutions to enable the timely resolution of business-critical issues.
- Provide day to day project management support, including monitoring and reporting on current and emerging priorities, programs and initiatives.
