Magle Group is in on a exciting growth journey and to strengthen our organisation we are now looking for a highly skilled and experienced Polymer and Emulsion Development Chemist to join our dynamic team. To be an ideal candidate you should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in polymer and emulsion chemistry, specifically within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. • Develop and optimize polymer and emulsion formulations for medical devices and pharmaceutical applications.
• Conduct research and development activities to innovate and improve existing products.
• Perform detailed characterization and analysis of polymers and emulsions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, quality, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent and be responsible for the chemistry in project teams.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to polymer and emulsion formulations.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 13485 standards throughout the development process.
• Participate in the scale-up of formulations from laboratory to production scale.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing during the production of new products.
• Assist in the development of quality control methods and specifications.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of polymer synthesis, characterization techniques, and emulsion technology.
• Proven track record of successful product development and commercialization.
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 13485 standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Besides English on a business level we see if you can Swedish and Danish languages is an advantage.
