Description:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in health sciences; healthcare informatics, information systems, statistics, or business preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of previous data analyst experience required.
- Database query (SQL) experience required.
- Must possess strong ability to perform route cause analysis and communicate findings in actionable manner.
- Experience with analytics reporting and data interpretation/presentation
- SQL report writing skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications Skills required.
- Excellent oral, written communication and problem solving skills required.
- Strong ability to work independently and within team setting to achieve outcomes
POSITION SUMMARY
The Population Health Data Analyst is responsible for overseeing, organizing, and optimizing healthcare data including EMR and claims data used to help drive strategic decisions and work activities for AtlantiCare Health Solutions, Accountable Care Organization.
This position will be responsible for the collection, validation, and analysis of health care data from multiple access points and interprets the output as charts, graphs, tables, dashboards and correlations using available software such as Excel and Tableau. The analyst delivers comparative and correlative analyses to support business decision and quality improvement initiatives within the ACO. The Analyst collaborates with payor and internal IT to ensure timely receipt of data.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required; degree in one of the following health sciences, healthcare informatics, information systems, statistics, or business preferred.
