Part-Time Line CookPrepare food according to food handlers guidelines.
Ensure safe operation of the kitchen equipment and adhere to safety/security guidelines. Report concerns to Executive Chef/Sous chef immediately.
Strong knowledge of cooking procedures and kitchen equipment.
Flexible with job responsibilities and able to multi-task.
Must keep a clean, stocked, and tidy workspace.
Must label and date all food stored and rotate food as needed.
Other responsibilities as directed by the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef
Must be available to work Nights and Weekends Minimum 1 year experience cooking in a casual restaurant.
Experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
Culinary education preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Some college preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work in a fast paced team setting. Must be open to flexible working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays and be available to work at least 25 hours per week.
Able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Food RunnerMust be very organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Able to judge quality and quantity of each dish according to chef standards to ensure each guest receives the correct order and best presentation.
Coordinates and communicates across the line with the chef.
Follows proper hold time standards for all heated products.
Able to read tickets and pull product from window in order specified.
Maintains full knowledge of food, beverages, products, and services.
Provide high level of customer service to guests.
Assist with special events.
Able to follow and execute special instructions/requests. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
Minimum 1 year expediting experience in a full service restaurant.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be available to work weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and some holidays.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be available to work a flexible work schedule of approximately 30 hours per week.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
DishwasherSort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, pots, pans, tableware and other cooking utensils and put in dishwasher.
Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and put away all other clean dishes when dry.
Take out all trash from trash receptacles.
