SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability Management or Economics
  • 3+ years professional experience as sourcing manager or similar
  • Plus: Existing network in the carbon credit market
  • Experience in engaging with external stakeholders and networking activities
  • Self-motivated and engaged for the mitigation of the climate crisis
  • Excellent negotiation skills and command of German and English
  • Experience in B2B project and partner management

Responsibilities:

  • Active project sourcing for carbon credits
  • Lead project sourcing activities in specific markets
  • Develop sourcing strategy for specific markets
  • Develop and monitor project portfolios in the carbon offset sector
  • Be first point of contact to our international project partners and keep up to date on the carbon market development
  • Manage and maintain global sourcing data in our CRM, ensuring that information regarding project leads and opportunities are well recorded and updated
  • Lead or contribute to know-your-customer checks, due diligence assessments and legal documentation
  • Collaborate closely with sales team on client requests
  • Attend Meetings, Seminars, Workshops, Events and Fairs that are relevant for strategic sourcing activities
