Description:

InfraRed represents the infrastructure equity arm of SLC Management, which also incorporates BGO, a global real estate investment management adviser, and Crescent Capital, a global alternative credit investment asset manager.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified accountant, ACA preferred, with at least 3 years post qualifying experience strongly preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and working with detailed Excel models
- Strong PowerPoint capability and experience of designing management information for senior stakeholders
- Educated to a degree level and above and able to demonstrate a strong academic record (or equivalent)
- Good project management skills and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Oriented to problem solving and keen to use personal initiative
- Organised and able to multi-task in a time-pressured environment
- Good eye for detail with tenacity in chasing and following up ensuring deadlines are met

- CFA qualification a plus
- Listed financial planning and analysis experience in a listed company environment
- Additional European language skills a plus

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
As Portfolio Manager, you will support the Portfolio Management team in relation to the business strategy, financial management and reporting for HICL Infrastructure plc (“HICL”), the FTSE 250 listed Infrastructure fund.
The role encompasses the financial management and reporting in relation to investments, including maximising yield and value and requires working closely with the Fund Management team, Originators, Asset Managers and Finance team of HICL.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing / coordinating project company finance manager relationships across HICL’s investments.
- Day-to day management of HICL’s distributable cashflow, with joint responsibility for monitoring and managing receipt of distributions and helping to ensure that HICL’s dividend is cash covered.
- Identification and management of value enhancements and asset management initiatives in relation to investments in the HICL portfolio. This could include optimising tax claims, refinancing, bulk procurement, treasury management, financial restructuring, accounting policies etc.
- Preparation of HICL’s 5-year financial forecasts, stress scenarios and annual business plan.
- Preparation of management information on Core Income to InfraRed’s Infrastructure Leadership team or Management Committee, as required.
