Description:

WITH US YOU WILL…

  • Develop and deliver the annual Portfolio Marketing Plan for assigned portfolios
  • Build strong working relationships and networks across Microsoft marketing teams for the benefit of the partnership
  • Be the subject-matter-expert in understanding portfolio buyers and the Decision-Making Unit (DMU), their challenges and drivers for product purchases
  • Identifying our ‘right to win’ and ‘right to play’ through detailed a knowledge of customers, competitors and the industry
  • Establish our differentiated positioning, messaging & product naming for all products in the portfolio through cross-functional collaboration
  • Work closely with our Technology Partner Managers and Partner Microsoft to develop joint value-propositions and market-leading collateral
  • Develop and manage the delivery of a programme of customer-facing content, product thought-leadership and collateral that Sales & Marketing Teams need to tell our story and win/accelerate orders
  • Distribute Positioning/Messaging and Content Toolkits to Group & OpCo Sales & Marketing Teams, optimising usage and activation
  • Be the lead point-of-contact for allocated projects
  • Present to senior stakeholders and key Partners, when needed
  • Maintain an up-to-date activity calendar and reporting for all portfolio marketing activities
  • Manage all activities within agreed budgets and timescales

Responsibilities:

This is the opportunity to be at the centre of a key strategic partnership for Vodafone Business focused on developing and driving our product marketing programme for our Microsoft suite of products and services.
As a Global Portfolio Marketing Manager working alongside your Portfolio Marketing colleagues. Your mission is to drive product success through strategic positioning, messaging and external content that resonates with our target audiences. You will understand our customers’ needs and pain points and translate those insights into compelling product stories that differentiate us from the competition, while constantly monitoring the market and adapting our approach to ensure continued success.
The materials you produce will enable our Global and Regional sales & marketing teams to clearly communicate the value of our products and services to customers of all sizes (SOHO to Global MNCs) across various global geographies and win in a competitive marketplace.
As a member of the Global Portfolio Marketing team, you will work closely with Marketing colleagues, Portfolio Product Management, Go-to-Market, Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Analyst Relations, and other stakeholder teams in Group and OpCo’s (Operating Countries).
This is a complex product marketing role with the successful candidate required to have a thorough understanding of and demonstratable experience in developing stories that bring together different types of technology (for example SaaS, Unified Communications, Cloud, Cybersecurity and AI)
The successful candidate must also be passionate about creating multi-product, customer-centric, business-outcome focused storytelling and understand the needs and challenges faced by buyers in businesses of all sizes across different geographies.
