Post CCT Clinical Fellow O&G (special interest Maternity Improvement)

To work at Senior Registrar/post-CCT level in providing clinical care for women in the outpatient and inpatient setting. The expectation is that the post holder will consolidate their skills and knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology prior to applying for a consultant post in Gynaecology. There will be annual appraisals and assessment of progress. Teaching and Training The post holder would be expected to contribute to the post-graduate education for all grades of medical staff and nursing staff at regular Friday afternoon teaching.There is a strong link with undergraduate teaching through the University of Bristol medical Academy.
This currently involves delivery of several tutorial-based sessions throughout the year the post holder will be expected to contribute to these sessions.The post holder will be encouraged to mentor and appraise the physician associate recently started in the department. Research The post holder will be encouraged to be active in Clinical Research. The Trust and Cranfield University have a longstanding collaboration and have formed the Cranfield Post Graduate Medical School in Gloucestershire
