Responsibilities:
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading on the development and characterization of alphaviral infection models in cellular systems using functional and genetic assays
- Planning, conducting and analysing bench level experiments and participating in the validation of protocols for quantifying alphaviral infection and spread
- Providing efficient and technical advice concerning qualitative aspects of projects to the wider research group where necessary
- Leading on manuscript writing
- Assisting with the development of grant proposals
