Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Post Fixtures Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client’s shipping activities. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring daily voyages, issuing freight invoices, calculating laytime, and ensuring prompt collections. You will also be expected to manage all necessary information in the IMOS operating system for relevant sections of voyage reporting. Your ability to work closely with Operators and Chartering PIC will be key to ensuring a smooth conclusion of all voyage files. Additionally, you will assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports and provide guidance to Trainees on Postfixture matters.

  • Monitor daily voyage status for issuing initial and final freight invoices
  • Calculate laytime, allocate it appropriately, and issue provisional or final invoices
  • Collect port papers, statements of facts, and all relevant documents for each port of call
  • Update notes to receivables regularly with latest status and relevant information
  • Prepare initial freight invoice as soon as possible ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Manage all necessary information in the IMOS operating system for relevant sections of voyage reporting
  • Work closely with Operators and Chartering PIC to ensure smooth conclusion of all voyage files
  • Assist with preparation of weekly and monthly management reports
  • Provide guidance to Trainee in respects of any Postfixture matters

The ideal Post Fixtures Analyst brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the shipping industry. With at least two years’ experience in a similar role, you have a proven track record of success. Your background in accounting will be highly advantageous, as will your experience with IMOS and SEDNA Email systems. You are adept at calculating laytime and issuing invoices, and you have experience managing information in an operating system like IMOS. Your ability to prepare weekly and monthly management reports will also be key to your success in this role.

  • Minimum Diploma in a related discipline from a reputed school
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in reputed shipping firm or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge in Accounting background will be an added advantage
  • Preferably with IMOS experience
  • Preferably with SEDNA Email system experience
  • Ability to calculate laytime and issue provisional or final invoices
  • Experience managing information in an operating system like IMOS
  • Ability to prepare weekly and monthly management report
