Responsibilities:

Servicing Shepparton and surrounding areas, you will work closely with our Employment Consultants and local employers assess and address the needs of job seekers in the workplace to ensure ongoing work is maintained. The primary duties of this role would include:

  • Providing regular support to both the client and the employer through phone and face to face contacts, conduct worksite visits and effectively remove barriers that may otherwise be problematic to workforce participation through effective problem solving.
  • Engage fully with Community Groups, Local Service Agencies and Registered Training Organisations to ensure access to services which provide support to the participants and employer before and after placement
  • Working closely with participants of the service, employers and community groups and other agencies to ensure work is secured long term by addressing any issues, training needs
  • Develop effective relationships with participants, employers, community organisations, Job Coaches and Workforce Partners to ensure clear lines of communication and accountability are established that will support the achievement of employment outcomes for our clients.
  • Liaise with current and potential employers to identify their current or future labour needs and market job seekers.
