We now have an opportunity for a Post Production Co-ordinator at our Dublin Studio for a 12 month, fixed term contract.
About the role:
Our next Post Production Co-ordinator will co-ordinate the delivery of animatics and HD Offlines to the client, by scheduling Editors time effectively and in collaboration with Production regarding notes passes from the Director and Client.
Delivery: What you produce
- Weekly editing schedules
- Priority task lists for editors
- Scheduled viewings, reviews, calls and notes passes for editors, directors and clients
- Priorities and deadlines for Revisionists on their show.
Measurements: How we measure it
- On-target completion of assigned tasks in line with project schedule
- Clean and accurate trackers across various stages
- Efficient and effective communication across the Post phases and departments
- Feedback from Post Supervisor, Editors, Production Manager and Directors.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Good understanding of schedules and deadlines; project management techniques.
- Previous Production experience required, ideally in an animation environment and likely to have been a successful Production Assistant.
- Experienced in database work and maintaining tracking documents.
- Microsoft Office, in particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to use asset tracking software e.g. Autodesk’s Shotgun.

Responsibilities: What you are regularly responsible for doing
- Working with the Post Supervisor to break out the day to day responsibilities and tasks of Editors assigned to a series, in line with the schedule from the Post Supervisor.
- Ensuring effective communication with the Editors around supply of necessary elements, requirements and deadlines.
- Communicating with Production to ensure timely notes passes from Directors and Client.
- Liaising with the Production Manager/Coordinator to ensure efficient and sufficient review and notes time is allowed for directors, ensuring on time delivery.
- Ensuring timely delivery of all passes to the client.
- Driving and taking notes on Client review calls.
- Reviewing all notes for legibility and clarity.
- Communicating in a timely way with the Supervisor on the schedule status.
- Updating various trackers e.g. animatic tracker, pick up trackers etc to ensure clear data is available to Post Supervisor and Production
- Contributing to weekly Post meetings & weekly Production-Post meetings.
- Liaising with animation studios on the delivery of HD and retakes files.
