The Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) at Aarhus University invites applications for two-three 2-year postdoc positions offering applicants an exciting opportunity to join a research project on developing RNA therapeutics.
The starting date is July 1st 2024, as soon as possible thereafter.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for candidates to join our interdisciplinary research team evolving around nanotechnology, RNA biology and RNA therapeutics. The postdoc candidates will contribute to projects within circRNA research, including circRNA biogenesis and function in development and disease, and RNA therapeutics with a focus on metabolic diseases.

WHO WE ARE

iNANO, Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (www.inano.dk), was established in 2002 and at present is a major research and education center based at Aarhus University hosting 60 senior scientists, ~100 postdocs and ~160 PhD students (located at Gustav Wieds Vej 14, 8000 Aarhus C).
The center combines expertise from the disciplines including physics, chemistry, molecular biology and medicine to carry out world class interdisciplinary research in nanoscience and nanotechnology. The centre gives access to a broad range of infrastructure, tools and expertise.
The positions will be embedded in RNA-META, Centre for RNA Therapeutics towards Metabolic Diseases ( https://inano.au.dk/about/research-centers-and-projects/rna-meta/research), founded by Novo Nordisk Foundation.
