Description:
Classification: ANU Academic Level A
Salary package: $80,914 - $101,560 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, Continuing (contingent funded) appointment for up to 36 months
THE PERSON
We are looking for an early career researcher with a PhD (or awarding of a PhD within six months of appointment). Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply : stellar spectroscopy and stellar abundances, stellar structure and stellar evolution, chemical evolution modelling, large survey data, statistics and machine learning, galaxy formation and simulations, integral field unit observations. Applications are encouraged from researchers who wish to undertake novel and collaborative research as part of their program.
Your ability to lead by example, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will enable you to foster respectful and productive working relationships with staff, students and colleagues at all levels RSAA.
