Description:

A POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW IN BEHAVIOURAL DATA SCIENCE POSITION IS AVAILABLE IN THE ASSISTANT PROFESSORSHIP OF CHRONOBIOLOGY & HEALTH AT THE TUM SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AND HEALTH. THE ASSISTANT PROFESSORSHIP OF CHRONOBIOLOGY & HEALTH IS EMBEDDED WITHIN THE TRANSLATIONAL SENSORY AND CIRCADIAN NEUROSCIENCE UNIT (MPS/TUM/TUMCREATE), AN INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH UNIT LED BY PROF. DR. MANUEL SPITSCHAN LINKING TUM, TUMCREATE IN SINGAPORE AND THE MAX PLANCK INSTITUTE FOR BIOLOGICAL CYBERNETICS IN TÜBINGEN. THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF MUNICH (TUM) IS ONE OF THE MOST RENOWNED UNIVERSITIES IN EUROPE. WE ARE OFFERING EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITIONS IN A HIGHLY INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH ENVIRONMENT.

This position is available in the AMBIENT-BD project funded by the Wellcome Trust and led by University of Edinburgh with co-investigators at TUM and Maynooth University. The focus of the AMBIENT-BD project is the ambient and passive collection of sleep and circadian rhythm data in bipolar disorder to understand symptom trajectories and clinical outcomes.
