Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Pashine research laboratory in the Department of Physics at Syracuse University is soliciting applications for a postdoctoral researcher in Experimental Soft Matter.
The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal, contingent upon funding availability and satisfactory performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ph D. in Physics, Engineering, or a related field, and demonstrated experience in experimental soft matter.
JOB SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in soft condensed matter and/or mechanical metamaterials.
- Strong research skills and experience in experimental design and data analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
