Starting from September 1st or as soon as possible thereafter, we are looking for a
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a related field such as biomedical/chemical/electrical/mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics, materials science, …
- Substantial practical experience with electrochemical sensors and/or cleanroom microfabrication
- Interest also in interdisciplinary and collaborative work to combine microtechnology with biology
- Exceptional drive, organizational skills, ability to work independently, and collaborative spirit
- Strong communication skills, as well as fluency in oral & written English (German optional)
Responsibilities:
- You will carry out research on the MetMap3D project
- You will lead, as well as contribute to, applications for additional personal and project funding
- You will publish research findings and participate in national and international conferences
- You will be involved in teaching at the University (preparation and implementation of courses, supervision of students’ work) as well as operational activities at PVZ and IMT
