Position Summary:
The candidate will work on tribology and mechanical testing of coatings and materials. They will characterize the materials before and after testing to define structure property relationships to help understand material performance. Weekly data analysis and report writing will be required The candidate will present at group meetings and project review meetings with sponsors. The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation of manuscripts intended for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
