Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The School of Economics is seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate as our Postgraduate Research Administrator. The successful candidate will show a high degree of cultural sensitivity and have a strong track record in customer service delivery. They will lead the day-to-day administration of the Postgraduate Research (PhD) programme. The ideal candidate will handle complex information accurately and provide proactive and comprehensive guidance relating to administrative procedures and policies. This is a part-time post, working 17.5 hours per week.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail in both written and figure work.
- Ability to plan and prioritise, work independently and also as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
