Responsibilities:
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Pou Hautū - School Manager to be located within the Te Kauhanganui Tātai Ture - Faculty of Law.
The Pou Hautū - School Manager will:
- Be responsible in collaboration with the Mata awhinuku - Faculty Operations Manager for managing all aspects of administration and day to day operations of the School of Law.
- Lead the administration team and work closely with the Tumuaki - Head of School to deliver high quality services to staff, students and other stakeholders.
- Have a can-do attitude, alongside a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Have the ability to develop and utilise highly effective working relationships both within the school and with colleagues across the University is an important aspect of the role.
To be considered for this role you will have experience in managing the administrative functions of an organisation and team as well as overseeing human resources processes, analysing and reporting on budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a member of the School/Faculty management team, contribute to the strategic development of the School.
- Responsible for the development and monitoring of the School’s academic programmes, including programme administration, timetabling, statue amendments, quality assurance and reporting.
- Assist with the coordination of Human Resource processes within the School.
- Assist with managing the School’s budget.
