Description:

Our client in the NPO industry sector is searching to engage a Power BI Consultant on a 4-month contract engagement.

You will be reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration and will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Consolidate data from QuickBooks Online and Excel in Power BI
  • Create Power Bi variance reports that track actual versus budget in a more automated format
  • Review data sources and ensure data integrity
  • Liaise with budget stakeholders and the senior leadership team to understand data inputs and GL coding/set up
  • Develop additional reports pertaining to cash flow forecast and Finance Committee reporting
  • Streamline reporting process to Provincial and Federal Government, outlining allocation of funding and progress reports

The ideal individual is an individual with strong Power BI experience and a solid understanding of FP& A.

In addition to the above, the following skills are also desired:

  • Strong business process improvement experience and data background
  • NPO experience would be beneficial
  • Consultative mindset, who can make recommendations
  • Experience working with basic manual data sources
  • Self-starter and quick learner
  • Advanced Excel skills
