Power BI Raport Engineer, MetsoOur company is seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Raport Engineer to join our team. As a Power BI Report Engineer, your role involves creating insightful and visually appealing reports using Microsoft Power BI.This position is located in Krakow, Poland, hybrid.What you will doUnderstanding Business Requirements:You collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their data visualization needs.Gather requirements related to report content, layout, and functionality.Data Modeling and Transformation:Connect to various data sources (databases, APIs, Excel files, etc.) within Power BI.Design data models by creating relationships between tables.Transform raw data into meaningful structures using Power Query.Report Design and Development:Create interactive and dynamic reports using Power BI Desktop.Design visually appealing dashboards, charts, tables, and KPIs.Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for custom calculations and measures.Implement slicers, filters, and drill-through functionality.Performance Optimization:Optimize report performance by minimizing data load times.Use best practices to enhance report responsiveness.Collaboration and Documentation:Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other team members.Document report specifications, data sources, and transformations.Share reports with end-users via Power BI Service or Power BI Embedded.Quality Assurance and Testing:Validate report accuracy and functionality.Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.Address any issues or discrepancies.Who you arePrevious experience as Power BI Raport Engineer.Typically, you’ll have 2-3 years of experience in SQL development and Power BI Reporting.Proficiency in using Power Query and writing expressions using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)Ability to assess data qualityUnderstanding of data security, including row-level security and data sensitivityA degree in software engineering or related field is beneficial.Certification as Microsoft Power BI Analyst would be advantageous.We OfferChallenging opportunities contributing to Metso industry leading solutions in a friendly, respectful and global environmentModern office in Kraków city centerPrivate Health InsuranceHybrid work modelGet together activitiesTrainings, e-learning courses and webinarsProfessional developmentNTIATIVE sp. z o.o. is an employment agency registered in the registry kept by Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship under the number 20293.Full NameEmail Address:Phone Number:Upload Resume File:Upload Resume File: …Attach a resume file.
