Responsibilities:
The CCO front-office department ‘Operational Support’ is responsible for enabling the energy transformation for ‘Power’ teams in the commercial area of Uniper Global Commodities. Our team helps to develop and secure effective compliance operations in the GER, UK, NL, HU and SE markets, continuously builds the compliance culture in Power and thus is directly contributes to the commercial success of the front-office Power function.
We are looking for a new team member as ‘Power Compliance Expert’ who has in-depth trading compliance expertise, e.g. REMIT, in relation to commercial power trading and dispatch functions. Your compliance knowledge will support and guide our Power stakeholders to continuously improve and act in accordance with the latest compliance regulations.

Your responsibilities are:
- You will be responsible of the coordination of compliance related ‘Root Cause Analysis’ across different teams and assist with analysis tasks, monitoring related actions and communicating with respective stakeholders
- You will have specialist knowledge of compliance regulations such as REMIT and develop this further in order to distribute regulatory changes and market practices to the affected stakeholders
- You will manage internal compliance communication and reporting on compliance e.g. by facilitating regular REMIT Compliance Exchange meetings, continue create monthly compliance newsletter and assure regular Compliance KPI reporting towards senior management
- You will strengthen the Power compliance culture by managing observations related to Power and coordinate findings and actions with your respective stakeholders
- You will transform compliance regulation and policies into practical and aligned operational processes and solutions
