Tasks
- Electrical design of converters for railroad applications
- Specify components and define technical requirements in collaboration with suppliers
- Perform type and qualification tests
- Collaborate with series testing and production
- Technical contact for customers to question requirements and define solutions
- Prepare the technical documentation required for the project
- Support the service department and the repair center in analyzing and finding solutions to faults
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical engineering in the field of power electronics or comparable
- Alternatively Technician education with relevant work experience
- Experience in the field of power electronics design and application
- Knowledge in the field of drive technology or railroad technology advantageous
- Experience in project management is a plus
- Advanced communication (min. B2) in spoken and written German and English
- Willingness to travel (approx. 5 %)
