As a consultant, you will have to support our clients in the realization of their projects on site by bringing your expertise and your skills. Tasks

  • Electrical design of converters for railroad applications
  • Specify components and define technical requirements in collaboration with suppliers
  • Perform type and qualification tests
  • Collaborate with series testing and production
  • Technical contact for customers to question requirements and define solutions
  • Prepare the technical documentation required for the project
  • Support the service department and the repair center in analyzing and finding solutions to faults

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical engineering in the field of power electronics or comparable
  • Alternatively Technician education with relevant work experience
  • Experience in the field of power electronics design and application
  • Knowledge in the field of drive technology or railroad technology advantageous
  • Experience in project management is a plus
  • Advanced communication (min. B2) in spoken and written German and English
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 5 %)
