Description:
In support of our client’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of their key initiatives will be in their Heavy Industry projects whereby they will develop and test a range of technologies to power mining fleet.
Based out their new Redcliffe facility and reporting to the Principal Electrical Engineer Heavy Industry, we are presently looking for an experienced Power Electronics Engineer.

Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver Power Electrical / Electronics systems for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) / Rail Locomotives projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
- Review and validation of various Power Electronics engineering designs and associated components
- Providing technical assistance on Power Electrical / Electronics Systems related works being carried out
- Develop technical specifications to meet project specific objectives
- Review / mark up engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopes
- Resolution of technical and design issues
- Proactively deliver on the company’s stretch targets
- Ensure compliance to the project management process by project owners
- Liaising with a range of key stakeholders on all technical aspects of projects
- Providing regular updates to the Principal Electrical Engineer including work progress, risks, and priorities
