JOB SUMMARY

Power Platform Applications Developer will be responsible to design, develop and maintain solutions. Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications focusing on the following areas. The incumbent is recognized as a subject matters expert in Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI/Automate/Power Apps/Pages , SharePoint and Azure.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Data integrations, using standard interfaces and APIs, with all types of data resources, to include but not exclusive to, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, SharePoint (lists & doc libraries), SQL (databases, cubes, and analysis services, etc.), and other common data storage locations.
• Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company
• Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company requirements.
• Document requirements of business needs via user stories/use cases, data flows, logical data models, et al.
• Document current state data and business process; articulates business needs and complex business problems
• Build, manage, and execute sophisticated test cases and testing plans
• Test new software code and works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment
• Analyze and test solutions and products before formal launch.
• Troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
• Ensure solution security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information
• Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
• Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all end users are confident in the use of all developed applications
• May lead functional teams or projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Industry
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in designing Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure and Power Platform solutions
• Managing solution development using Azure DevOps
• Highly experienced in building solutions with Microsoft Power Platform features including Power Apps (canvas, model-driven, and portal), Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages
• Background in the field of Software Development, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering / Analytics or Business Process Improvement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to provide meaningful, regular status communications at multiple levels of detail
• Experience supporting Multi company/multi-plant environment with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to engage virtually with distributed teams
• Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Excellent evaluation skills and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to travel 10%

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in Supply Chain Management
• Expert understanding of Azure Cloud capabilities
• Microsoft Certified - Power Platform, Power BI Fundamentals, Azure, etc.
• Ability to show evidence of applications built within the Power Platform suite of products (i.e. examples or portfolio desired)
• Good understanding of agile methodologies, creative design thinking and finding innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
• Good understanding of Azure Data Factory, Pipelines, and Dataflows
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
