As HLS PR Account Manager, you excel in crafting compelling content, coordinating media outreach, and securing valuable coverage. You have a flair for writing across several communications platforms and channels, organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

As our trusted PR Unicorn, you will manage both consumer and business accounts, develop and implement strategic PR plans, maintain media and influencer relations, and ensure happy clients. This is a full-time role located in Cape Town. You will form part of a team and work closely with our head of content and the social media manager. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results and help clients achieve their objectives, while raising the PR-bar!

Firstly, 4-5 years PR agency experience is essential for this role.
Your are a pitch queen (or king) and have great media relations across various industries and sectors
You understand how to forward plan and put PR calendar plans and creative tactics together for client approvals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain media and client relationships
Account management abilities: you understand timesheets, status reports, and monthly reports for clients
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Proficiency in PR software and tools
Your creative planning extends across multiple communications platforms (not just 90’s press releases): think blogs, influencers, websites, newsletters, podcasts, SEO, video, eBooks, white papers - you name it, we can place it
