REQUIREMENTS

Licensure: Candidates must be currently licensed to practice as a practical or vocational nurse in a State or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia.
Specialized Experience: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the Federal service maintaining medical records, assisting professional medical providers with clinical evaluations and procedures, and discussing medical care coordination with patients or family members at a patient care facility.

Help

• Performs direct patient care and referral management activities.
• Takes basic vital signs and documents any pertinent information in patient health record.
• Assist physicians with basic examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Instruct patients and/or family members in self-care procedures in regard to various prescribed treatments.
• Elevate lab results to physicians for review.
• Assists with administrative and clerical tasks at health clinic when necessary.
