The post holder will be required to work in a complex, demanding and unpredictable environment. Required to perform highly physical skills where accuracy is of paramount importance To function as a practicing professional working directly alongside trained staff, students and support staff participating in direct patient care in line with the NMC code. To plan and maximise opportunities to deliver work-based learning As a member of the Professional Development Team support the review and development of the annual departmental education, training and development plans and ensure they remain relevant and contributory to the Directorate and Corporate plans. Develop, maintain and implement a Competency based framework for all areas of Clinical practice.
To support the development and implementation of the Trusts model of clinical supervision. To support the Senior Practice Development Nurse in developing and maintaining nursing learning environment that meet the performance standards of external Quality Assurance bodies
