    Our Centre Leader positions are a key leadership role within our centre network team. Reporting to the ACT Regional Business Leader and working with a supportive and experienced leadership group, you will bring your genuine passion for delivering quality customer service and lead the team to success.

About your Duties and responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting our wonderful team of Dentists and Dental Assistants and ensuring daily operations are delivered efficiently and effectively. This includes hands on daily support and leadership of your team of Dental Assistants and Receptionists to provide a range of dental services to our patients.

In addition to this, you will be responsible for:

  • Financial Management: Budgeting, invoicing, and expense monitoring of the clinic as well as growth opportunities
  • Patient Experience: Ensure the highest standard of patient care, satisfaction, and safety.
  • Clinical Compliance: Guaranteed adherence to applicable medical regulations, privacy legislation, and practice policies
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train and manage a team of Dental Assistants, supporting their learning and development opportunities
  • Managing and maintaining stakeholder relationships including patients, Dentists, Health Funds and local suppliers etc.
  • Setting and meeting key performance indicators within agreed budgets for the centre
  • Roster management including labour ratios and budgets

  • Dental or medical knowledge/experience is highly regarded, but experience outside the industry will be considered such as retail or hospitality.
  • Leadership skills including the ability to motivate others and build relationships quickly
  • Demonstrated experience in effective people management including coaching, mentoring, performance management and recruitment
  • Solid business and commercial acumen with experience in working to set targets, KPI’s and rostering
  • Ability to lead a longstanding resilient team
  • Prepared to lead a high performing hub
