Description:

The Health Cove, an established 5 star google reviewed allied health practice with 18 years of service in northern NSW. We have two lovely beachside locations of Brunswick Heads and Cabarita Beach.
Job Title: Practice Manager
Purpose: To lead an exceptional team of allied health practitioners and receptionists to provide gold standard healthcare to our patients and community.
Reports To: Managing Directors

Responsibilities:

  • Planning:
  • Provide regular reports on business performance in relation to goals.
  • Work with executive management to develop and implement strategies for achievement of organisational goals.
  • Human Resources:
  • Recruitment, development and management of non clinical practice staff to ensure high performance and continuing professional improvement.
  • Leadership and management including team building, delegation of tasks and conflict resolution.
  • Provide assistance with payroll to ensure both employee and employer interests are protected, tax/superannuation obligations are met and records are maintained.
  • Systems:
  • Review and improve practice systems to ensure smooth and efficient functioning, high quality services and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with other management and team leaders in relation to bookings, reception, phone hub, and contacting to optimise workflows.
  • Finances:
  • Maintain and control debtors, creditors and general ledger to ensure maximum profitability and cash flow and compliance with all taxation, record keeping and other statutory requirements.
  • Equipment and Software:
  • Maintain computer hardware and software in conjunction with suppliers.
  • Schedule maintenance and upgrades of equipment.
  • Work with IT contract provider to trouble-shoot day to-day operations
  • Compliance:
  • Maintain awareness of current and new legislation to ensure business is complying with all statutory and regulatory obligations including industrial and employment law, OHS requirements, privacy obligations and taxation responsibilities.
  • Ensure relevant personnel are kept informed and changes are made to systems and procedures as equired.
  • Ensure practice complies with all contractual obligations.
  • Marketing:
  • Identify opportunities for growth, working with executive management to execute marketing plans.
  • Networking:
  • General practitioners, Support co ordinators and other areas of networking are crucial
