Are you a registered nurse with a passion for primary healthcare nursing? Do you have experience in a community environment?
If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a registered nurse with experience in primary care.
- Permanent Position 16 hours per week
- Conveniently located on the Kapiti Coast Team Medical is a locally owned practice working in association with Green Cross Health.
We are an integrated family health centre passionately providing a full range of GP Care to our enrolled patients and Urgent Care for accidents and urgent medical needs to our community. As a key health hub to the Kapiti Coast our GP services typically operate Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. Our Urgent Care services operate 7 days a week from 8am - 10pm. We also offer full X-Ray facilities on site. Green Cross Health is one of New Zealand’s leading primary health care organisations. About the Position and You:
We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join our kaimahi. You will have a professional positive attitude with outrageously good customer service skills. In addition to a broad, expert nursing knowledge across the age spectrum, our enrolled population demographic is suited to someone with a developed expertise in care of the older person and chronic conditions management.

- Clinical experience and passion for, primary care and primary care nursing
- Great communication skills at all levels with patients, their whānau, your whānau mahi colleagues and allied business partners
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to honouring Tiriti o Waitangi in delivery of healthcare
- Commitment to the principles and practices of health equity
- MedTech / Evolution experience preferred
- Good computer literacy
- You must be registered with current practicing and CPR certificates
- Authorised Vaccinator / Cervical Smear Taker (Preferred but training provided for the right candidate )
